Boys’ Hop Hip – Ages 10-17
(Saturday @ 12pm)
Combining hip-hop technique, fitness, and leadership training to build and empower young men to better themselves and others. Taught by dancer, choreographer, and fitness enthusiast Q Harper, this class will explore the importance of fitness in relation to dance while cultivating leadership skills through training and teambuilding.
They will not only learn fundamental dance techniques like popping, waving, tutting and breaking, but will also learn how to use those skills to create a choreographed piece for the end of year recital.

Dress Code for Male Dancers
GDC’s dress code requirements are designed to support an optimal dance experience for all students. Dressing the part allows the dancer to be fully prepared for the demands of class, ensures safety, and sets the tone for the level of focus while instilling a sense of confidence and pride in the dancer’s appearance.
