Georgia Dance Conservatory Studio Policies
Registration
GDC’s Registration Fee is non-refundable and reserves a dancer’s spot in class.
Returning Families Registration Fee: $25 per student
New Families Registration Fee: $45 per student
Refunds/Credits
All Registration, Tuition, Recital Costume, and Recital Performance fees are non-refundable.
Classes missed due to inclement weather, illness, or vacation will not be issued a refund or GDC account credit.
A refund or GDC account credit will be issued for classes cancelled due to lack of enrollment.
Tuition
GDC’s 2026/2027 Tuition covers 36 weeks of classes from August 10th, 2026 through May 29th.
Tuition rates are calculated by the total number of hours per week, per dancer.
Tuition is paid in 10 monthly installments from August 2026 through May 2027, due on the 1st of each month.
Monthly autopay option is available and highly encouraged.
To reduce the amount of traffic in the studio, all payments should be made online through GDC’s Studio Director online payment portal.
Students with accounts over 30 days past due will be suspended from class participation
until the account is current.
GDC Family Discount
GDC’s Family Discount Rates are designed for families with two or more dancers who are taking multiple classes per week.
To qualify for GDC’s Family Discount, you must meet the following qualifications:

- Two or more dancers in your immediate family
- Total family weekly in-person hours of 7 or more

Recital Fees
All GDC classes culminate in an end of the year recital performance (unless they are specifically designated as a non-recital class). This allows the dancers to get a full dance experience from the classroom to the stage.
Recital Costume Fees are due by
October 1st, 2026 (see rates below).

The Recital Performance Fee confirms your dancer’s spot in Recital 2027 and is due by Feb 1st, 2027.
Trial Class
- For classes with availability, a free trail class may be scheduled via the GDC online registration portal.
- Attending a trail class does not guarantee enrollment in the class.
- A free trial class must be scheduled 5 days prior to the class and may not be applied retroactively.
Withdrawal
Should you wish to un-enroll your dancer from GDC classes, GDC must receive your withdrawal request IN WRITING. Withdrawal requests should be emailed to d.c.desk@georgiadance.com.
Withdrawal requests are processed the same day they are received in writing; withdrawal requests may not be applied retroactively.
Monthly tuition installment payments reserve your dancer’s spot in class through the end of the month in which they are paid; if withdrawal is requested, tuition refunds or account credits will not be issued for GDC classes not attended after the monthly tuition payment is made.
Late Payments/Returned Checks
All fees are due in full by the first of each month. Any accounts that are not paid in full by the 5th will be assessed a 10% late fee. Students with accounts over 30 days past due will be suspended from class participation until the account is current.

Returned checks will be assessed a $45.00 Service Fee, plus any other fees that are assessed by the bank to GDC.
