Teen Focused Hip Hop Dance Classes – Ages 13-17
GDC’s Teen Hip-Hop dance classes are a fun and engaging way for older students to learn key skills in the fundamental styles of hip hop dance. Learn techniques like waving, popping, tutting, and breaking. GDC’s curriculum will immerse each student in the latest trends in dance culture and understand musicality, texture, and versatility in movement as they build confidence through dance performance.
Teen Hip-Hop I/II
(6th-8th grade; 1-2 previous years of Hip Hop experience recommended)

In this beginners Hip Hop dance class tailored to our teen students, class time will be dedicated to learning the fundamentals of Hip-Hop dance techniques like popping, waving, tutting and breaking, but will also learn how to use those skills to create a choreographed piece for the end of year recital!
Teen Hip-Hop III
(7th-12th grade; 3 previous years of Hip Hop experience required)

Georgia Dance Conservatory’s Advanced Hip Hop III dance class, students with 3+ years of experience will take the fundamentals of Hip-Hop dance techniques to the next level! This faster paced class will take the combined knowledge of fine motor skills and more precise movements gained from previous classes and combine them to create a choreographed piece for the end of year recital!

Dress Code for Teen Studio Level Students
Georgia Dance Conservatory’s dress code requirements are designed to support an optimal dance experience for all students. Dressing the part allows the dancer to be fully prepared for the demands of class, ensures safety, and sets the tone for the level of focus while instilling a sense of confidence and pride in the dancer’s appearance.
